When you read in the newspaper, you will read about many types of acts of violence. It's a shame that this is what the world has come to. Yet, you will find that there are many things that have happened. So what sort of violence is out there? Let's look at a few of them. Then, you will see the need for increased police task force and more.
One of the first things that you find is that there are many areas that are being taken over by gangs. They are running streets. They are taking over communities. These same individuals are also killing people at random. They kill people because they cross in their territory. Sometimes innocent bystanders are shot just due to the fact that they are in the wrong place when they decide to do drive bys.
Terrorists are just as bad as these gangs. They take people hostage. They kill themselves and other people for those they worship. Many do this in the name of Allah. Many of us Americans will never forget the biggest action on our nation of terrorism. This would be 9-11. They will not be forgotten, but many wonder, how do you get these people to quit?
There are some that notice that their best friend walks in with a bruised face. They have an excuse for every bruise. You know deep down that they didn't run into the door. You know that the husband that they love did it to them. Yet, many don't stand up for these women. The result ends in death in many cases.
Women are a huge target. They are abused and taken advantage of. One act of this violence is rape. Women should not be taken advantage of. They are human just as you and I and should be treated like that. Yet, due to the fact that society has told women and others throughout the time, men think that women belong in the kitchen and should be submissive in every single way.
children are subjected to this as well. If you hear how people talk about children, it almost seems that some have them for the mere fact that children can do things for you. However, what we find is that in many instances, it starts with verbal abuse. Then, after that, it turns into violence that no child should ever have to go through.
Then, you have the elderly. They have given much of their life to raise a family and do the things that they aim to do. However, what we then find in many cases is that when they are sent to a nursing home to retire, they are taken advantage of. Is this how we show our thanks? We don't think so. Something has got to give. Now, let's look at this and see what we can do.
Many want to know when this will end? When will we never have to fear? When will kids get to grow in a loving environment? When will this world be normal? What can you do though is what you should be asking. The more we just sit around and do nothing, the more things such as this continues. Join a cause and make a difference. You have something that you can do. That is, you can say enough is enough when it comes to violence.
