By Jeff Smith

When the first Camaro rolled off the factory floor in 1967 is had a unique and appealing force to it. This has made it a sustainable vehicle through the years. Today the 2011 Camaro pictures are showing no exception to this rule. Camaro had had many faces and this one is definitely one to check out and take a look at.

The base model is one along with the Coupe 1Lt, 2 LT, 1SS and Coups 2SS. Their price range falls from a little over twenty two thousand to almost thirty five thousand depending on the model and package that you choose. As the same in 1967 their base model comes standard with a six cylinder engine.

In 1967 it was an in line six design, for 2011 it is a V6. With a 3.6 liter displacement this engine produces an impressive 312 horsepower. It also comes with a standard six speed manual transmission. If you must have an automatic it will cost you an additional $995.00. For that you get a six speed automatic. This model comes with standard eighteen inch wheels, steering wheel mounted cruise control and a dual exhaust. All Camaro models come with six months of OnStar Directions and connections plan with turn by turn navigation.

In the line of cars there is the Coupe and there is the SS line. Both are great cars and it just depends on your needs, budget and desires in the available packages that are offered. If you want a bit more power you will want the SS line.

If you are looking for a little more, check out the Coupe 2LT. This model still comes standard with the 3.6 liter engine and manual transmission. Upgrades over the previously two models include leather appointed seating, auto dimming mirrors, head-up display, four gauge instrument cluster, Boston acoustics 9 speaker premium sound system, Bluetooth, USB ports and 19 inch wheels. The 2LT has a base price of $27,225.00.

If you want more than V6 power for your new 2011 Camaro then take the next step up to the SS line up. These (1SS and 2SS come with a standard 6.2, 426 horsepower V8 engine. It is just like the 67' model in the choices that driver enthusiasts are looking for. They come with twenty inch aluminum wheels, four piston Brembo vented disk brakes and a reardeck lid spoiler. You also get a limited slip rear differential and SS seat embroidery. These will run you a bit over thirty thousand dollars.

The 2SS is similar with the options as the 1SS with a bit more punch. It will run you about another five thousand dollars for the 2SS features. It also has the USB ports and Bluetooth options. These options are for selected phones. It also has a power sunroof, RS package and automatic transmission with stripe package.

With the exception to the LS the RS package is available on every model. It has a high intensity discharge headlights with LED Halo rings that are integrated. You can also fin a rear deck lid spoiler on LT models and a unique tail lamp quality to it.

Chevrolet has done a very good job at keeping with the ideal of the original 1967 Camaro. This latest model has also been done in a bit of a retro look taking in the best visual features of the 1967-1969 body styles. For an affordable american sports car, the 2011 Camaro is your car.
